# Titanium.XML.DOMImplementation
The Titanium.XML.DOMImplementation interface provides a number of methods for performing operations that are independent of any particular instance of the document object model.Implements the DOM Level 2 API on Android and iOS.
# Properties
# apiName READONLY
The name of the API that this proxy corresponds to.
The value of this property is the fully qualified name of the API. For example, Titanium.UI.Button
returns Ti.UI.Button
.
# bubbleParent
Indicates if the proxy will bubble an event to its parent.
Some proxies (most commonly views) have a relationship to other proxies, often established by the add() method. For example, for a button added to a window, a click event on the button would bubble up to the window. Other common parents are table sections to their rows, table views to their sections, and scrollable views to their views. Set this property to false to disable the bubbling to the proxy's parent.
Default: true
# lifecycleContainer
The Window or TabGroup whose Activity lifecycle should be triggered on the proxy.
If this property is set to a Window or TabGroup, then the corresponding Activity lifecycle event callbacks will also be called on the proxy. Proxies that require the activity lifecycle will need this property set to the appropriate containing Window or TabGroup.
# Methods
# addEventListener
Adds the specified callback as an event listener for the named event.
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
name | String | Name of the event. |
callback | Callback<Titanium.Event> | Callback function to invoke when the event is fired. |
Returns
- Type
- void
# applyProperties
Applies the properties to the proxy.
Properties are supplied as a dictionary. Each key-value pair in the object is applied to the proxy such that myproxy[key] = value.
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
props | Dictionary | A dictionary of properties to apply. |
Returns
- Type
- void
# createDocument
Creates an Titanium.XML.Document object of the specified type with its document element. Raises an exception if qualifiedName is malformed, contains an illegal character, or is inconsistent with namespaceURI. Also raises an exception if doctype has already been used with a different document.
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
namespaceURI | String | The namespace URI of the document element to create. |
qualifiedName | String | The qualified name of the document element to be created. |
doctype | Titanium.XML.DocumentType | The type of document to be created or null. When doctype is not null, its Node.ownerDocument attribute is set to the document being created. |
Returns
A new Titanium.XML.Document object
# createDocumentType
Creates an empty Titanium.XML.DocumentType node. Entity declarations and notations are not made available. Entity reference expansions and default attribute additions do not occur. Raises an exception if qualifiedName is malformed or contains an illegal character.
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
qualifiedName | String | The qualified name of the document type to be created. |
publicId | String | The external subset public identifier. |
systemId | String | The external subset system identifier. |
Returns
A new Titanium.XML.DocumentType node with Node.ownerDocument set to null.
# fireEvent
Fires a synthesized event to any registered listeners.
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
name | String | Name of the event. |
event | Dictionary | A dictionary of keys and values to add to the Titanium.Event object sent to the listeners. |
Returns
- Type
- void
# hasFeature
Test if the Titanium.XML.DOMImplementation implements a specific feature.
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
feature | String | The name of the feature to test (case-insensitive). The values used by DOM features are defined throughout the DOM Level 2 specifications and listed in the Conformance section. The name must be an XML name. To avoid possible conflicts, as a convention, names referring to features defined outside the DOM specification should be made unique by reversing the name of the Internet domain name of the person (or the organization that the person belongs to) who defines the feature, component by component, and using this as a prefix. For instance, the W3C SVG Working Group defines the feature "org.w3c.dom.svg". |
version | String | This is the version number of the feature to test. In Level 2, the string can be either "2.0" or "1.0". If the version is not specified, supporting any version of the feature causes the method to return true. |
Returns
true if the feature is implemented in the specified version, false otherwise.
- Type
- Boolean
# removeEventListener
Removes the specified callback as an event listener for the named event.
Multiple listeners can be registered for the same event, so the
callback
parameter is used to determine which listener to remove.
When adding a listener, you must save a reference to the callback function in order to remove the listener later:
var listener = function() { Ti.API.info("Event listener called."); }
window.addEventListener('click', listener);
To remove the listener, pass in a reference to the callback function:
window.removeEventListener('click', listener);
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
name | String | Name of the event. |
callback | Callback<Titanium.Event> | Callback function to remove. Must be the same function passed to |
Returns
- Type
- void
